Welcome to the Meadow Mist Farm homepage!

We have been breeding a closed herd for 48 years and have been using artificial
insemination (AI) since the beginning of open AI.   Here at Meadow Mist Farm,
we have been performance testing since the beginning of AHIR and have used
embryo transfer (ET) for 19 years!  We've tested negative for Bovine Lukemia
virus since 1964 and tested negative for Johnes since the advent of more accurate
tests.
 

Our selection emphasis has been on the basis of those traits of economic importance,
structural soundness and udder quality.
